still need a turbo timer???

yeah, I always make sure my oil gauge is below 200 before i shut it off.

instead of getting a turbo timer, cant i just let my auto starter run for a few minutes while i leave the car?

its a good idea to warm up your turbo first also.

I guess there is NO oil pressure readout anywere in the vehicle aswell?


My run of thumb is to wait until the pressure builds (most vehicles get pressure upon startup) and to not hit boost hard until the engine temp is atleast moving up the scale. You car is plenty hot once the temp sensor picks up any readings.

The 2 things that kill turbos are starvation (no oil pressure) and contamination (even the smallest speck).
