still need a turbo timer???
I guess there is NO oil pressure readout anywere in the vehicle aswell?
My run of thumb is to wait until the pressure builds (most vehicles get pressure upon startup) and to not hit boost hard until the engine temp is atleast moving up the scale. You car is plenty hot once the temp sensor picks up any readings.
The 2 things that kill turbos are starvation (no oil pressure) and contamination (even the smallest speck).
