tein coilovers

Had the SS installed last week, great feeling so far and i am going in for my adjustments this week. I think i would like the front just the smallest bit lowered and perhaps a stiffen up of the back. I was planning on installing an rs4 rear sway but don't know if i should put it on while they are adjusting the car or does it make any difference at all?

I thought that with a stiffer rear end (with a rear anti-sway) you'd get more oversteer, not less. Am I wrong?

you are right [sm=smiley20.gif]...on my rx-7 i actuallytook out the rear sway bar....but front wheel drive and quattro...in my experienced...tend to be more understeer...so with stiffer rear tend to balance it out a little....and ofcourse...springs rate..cambers...toes in/out...sway bars...all make differences too
If you go to tein's website they only list FWD and S4 quattro being available in their Basic coiliovers. Super Street is avaiable for everything.
What is the difference between H&R VS TEIN? why does TEIN say their product is for "off-road use only" and H&R says they are for street and some track use?

I always thought when companies made after market parts, depending on the application naturally, for the cars they have to put things like that on as warnings for their own 'legal team' as to not endorse unsafe driving and usage

Go to THIS page and open the INSTALLATION MANUAL. Read page 8 it even says if you die from using their products, even if its their products fault, they are not liable in any way. That kinda sealed the deal for me - no TEIN for me. I looked around H&R and could find any info like this.
