Temperature Reading Messed Up

the temperature was goin up to the max so i went out and checked it out, a shop replaced my timing belt water pump and the thermostat and all that stuff,
now from time to time my temp is going below the half to the left towards the cold.
is it the sensor or sumting else?

Is it dipping below normal after the car is warmed up? If you start the car, it'll gradually make its way up to normal. If the needle starts dropping while you are driving, you may have a problem. You can check to make sure the sensor is seated properly. Check your fluids and make sure they are topped up.

yea after it's warmed up, when i turn my A/C on it starts to go down and i think my freon is low

Replace the temperature sensor.
