Default turo-back exhaust

I recently bought a 2001 A4 1.8T and I want to start upgrading. It's stock and I'm thinking I can start with the turbo-back exhaust but I don't know which one is best. If someone can give me some suggestions on which company is most reliable, it would help alot. Thanks

I dont know if turbo back but you could get a high flow cat or test pipe with a cat back system like borla. I have borla and i love it

alright, thanks alot. I think i'll get the Borla cat-back system with the downpipe from AWE tuning for now, but now i'll need a good high flow cat to go with it....any suggestions?? something not too ridiculously expensive. the cat-back with downpipe is goin to cost around $650, so if its around $350, that'd be great.

Here's the one I have-

It's not exactly in your specific price range, but others are more expensive. Bolts up perfectly with the AWE Borla exhaust. Only complaint I have is that the washers that connect to the downpipe weren't large enough. 15 cents at the local hardware store.

If you plan on doing the install yourself, you might want to invest in a sawzall. The oxygen sensors are 22mm. you can get the special socket made for it or just use a 22mm open end wrench.

You can use a box end wrench instead of an O2 sensor socket. I believe it's 7/8". The front O2 sensor is easy. The back O2 sensor was hard for me to get too. If you don't have a box end wrench get the socket, they are cheaper.
