Hi, guys My 1.8t is missfiring on hard drive RPM but no code, I pulled out the spark plugs to reduce the gap from 0.32 to 0.28 since it's chiped and I did found the Cyl #2 plug full of oil, I'm not an expert but looks like a blown valve gasket.
Is it expensive, any special tool and/or hard to DIY?

Are you sure what looks like oil isnt actually fuel? If you are missfireing there is unburnt fuel. I would swap the coil pack from the plug that is messed up and see if the problem follows that particular coil pack. Im surprised there is no code.

 

If there is oil on top where the coil pack sits, change the spark plug/valve cover gasket.

 

It's no fuel, it's oil all around the plug and the coil
