I took out my spare and my trunk is empty gutted. i have a 97 a4 1.8t and today i took out all the **** that was in my trunk. my friends spare tire and my big *** spare tire. i noticed a lil lightness. Is there nething else to reduce the weight? backseats? THANK YOU

 

it depends how far u want to go. you could gutt the whole interior but thats a bit too much if you ask me. personally the way i look at it is the benefits of reducing luxury are not worth shaving off a few lbs. plus it really isnt gonna make any difference unless you take it to the extreme.

 

Asking audiboy, his car is on a little diet...I would rather bolt on a bigger turbo and gain power that way. I notice no difference in acceleration with an extra 250lbs therefore I will not be losing any luxuries. Doesnt seem worth it to me

Taking out the backseats might save you 50 pounds... they are very light... an audi just doesnt seem like the type of car that weight reduction seems suitable... audi's are praised for their interiors! I'd consider a bimmer if their interiors werent so fugly!
