Where is the COMBINATION VALVE locanted

Default Where is the COMBINATION VALVE locanted

2000 1.8T Quattro I need to know where the "Combination Valve" is located. Please send me a pics or great details of where I can find that part cause I need to change it cause of the codes. So please help.

I dont know if this pic is going to work but i belive its at the back of the motor its number 10 in the pic if it works

Is #12 the secondary air pump?

What about a pics of the an 1.8T engine so I see exactly what u guys are talking about cause for now I'm still confused & don't even know where to look under the hood.

The combination vavle bolts onto the back of the head. It is "chrome" in color. It has one big hose going to it along with a smaler vacuum line. And yes 12 is the secondary air pump in that picture. The location seems off to me thou. 11 is the airbox and should be on the same side as the turbo.
