Where is the oil pan bolt?

I am changing my oil for the first time and cant seem to locate it. sorry to all those vet's about there but its my first time. also, will it make any different if i use an audi oil filter versus a fram? i bought the right size from (bigger one) so i dont think it would. please answer back ASAP! thanks

The oil pan should be easy to find. It's a big aluminum pan with a bolt on it. Yes you should use the factory Mann filters and not Fram. At least use a german substitute like Mayle.

fram is all i could get my hands on. nobody carries mayle around here

i'm sure it will be ok, but I wouln't make a habit of fram filters. M1 filters are suppose to be better, and are available at most autoparts stores.

i would stick to the audi filter. U can get them online here for like less than $8, the dealership cahrges like $20.

just go to napa or somewhere theyll hook u up with it, never go to the dealer they always charge to much. look in ur owner maunal
