I just bid on an passenger side OEM KO3 off an S4/A6 2.7T, will it fit my 1.8T A4? The shop manager wasn't there when i called but the new guy said he thinks one just has a longer snout but I'm hoping since mine is technically "passenger side" it should be exactly the same. Thanks

 

It looks like the drivers side will bolt up, not the passengers. Can anyone confirm this?

 

I don't remember which is which, but if its the one with the longer bent compressor outlet, then defintly not.

 

yea the passenger side has the longer bent snout, the drivers side looks exactly the same as mine on the 1.8t. I'd assume it will bolt up the same

 

You do know the exhaust housing outlet is a 4 bolt not a 3 bolt? Looks like the compressor housing is clocked different and the WG is at a different angle.

 

yea, after researching as much as I can find I'm ruling out anything but a direct replacement.

 

Ive got a k03s I just removed from my 01 a4. I have a rebuild kit for it also if you want to buy it from me. It just needs the seals redone, but the kit has a lot more than that. PM if you are interested.
