My son's 96 A4 wasn't blowing hot air so we replaced the thermostat. Now since he has hot air we have noticed a new problem. In the dash, the two outer vents, and 2 of the 3 center vents blow cool air while only one of the middle vents will blow hot air. It had three different codes all of which were either sensors or the control panel. Thought maybe the panel was the problem since the recirculate button would not stay on when pushed. Replaced the control panel and it didn't help. Recirculate button still will not stay on and still only one vents blows hot air. My mechanic is stumped. Any thoughts? He doesn't want to tear into the dash without knowing more about it. Noone around here is very familiar with Audi's. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
