Default Will 18/235/45 work on a B6 A4?

Hi guys,

I just bought some winter tires, they are 18/235/45, I am mounting them on 18" 8inch wide wheels with a +35 offset. I was wondering if they will fit a 2002 A4. Would it rub?

Thanks

Well ideally you'd have a 235/40/18 or for winter maybe a 225/40/18 (a little narrower) ... so you've got a tire that is a bit taller, and obviously a bigger circumferance as well. Might throw off the speedo a bit... but I doubt if you rub. Is the car sport or non-sport -- or does it have any aftermarket suspension?

The car is sport, with factory suspension, its 02 model so the suspension has become soft, when I push down on the rear end, it bounces a few times before settling.
Thanks

Yeah I think you would be alright on stock sport with those tires... I already mentioned the best tire sizes for your application, but yeah... you could get away with the size you listed, I bet.
