I have an A4 Quattro and the wiper blade motor shudders for about a minute (even though the wipers are not on!) after I start the car. I also have a fuel sensor problem. the reason they seem to be related is that after the fuel gauge reads empty (and the fuel light comes on) the wiper blades stop shuddering. it does this every time.
