Default thinking of ordering A5

Hi. I'm new to the whole forum thing but I am thinking of ordering an A5 automatic so that my wife can finally be able to drive my car. I currently have a 2000 A4 2.8Q and it's just not doing anything for me as much as it used to at least. I am looking into the 2009 A5 auto with every option (premium, technology, b & o, s-line) but i'm wondering about prices. I just wanted to see if other people had gotten any good deals - better than paying msrp. I checked it out on edmunds for my area and it seems like people are but my dealer says differently. They also told me that it was going to be about 6 months to come in after I order, give or take a month. I noticed that other people are saying on here that they were told 3 months. I am going to have a baby end of may and don't want to take delivery too soon. 6 months sounds good to me but not 2-3 months. I know it is the exact opposite of the way people usually think but I have to many things going on right now trying to get into a new business and new baby, etc. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Default RE: thinking of ordering A5

I work at Audi of Alexandria and we tell our clients we expect it to take approximately 4 months but it's not set in stone. You can expect to pay at least $3k more for an 09 model, don't quote me because we haven't received pricing yet but that's we're expecting.
