so i just got my first car, (see title). black with black leather interior etc. my only problem with the car is this red and white vinyl stripe on the side. Ive heard that a hairdryer and glue remover will work to get it off, but ive also heard that they might cause discoloration. anyone know what approach i sohuld take?

 

i would just use the hairdryer or a heatgun. it should just peel right off after you get one end of it. just be careful not to heat the paint up too much, because that definitely could cause discoloration.
