Im looking at buying a 2001 a6 2.7t and it slips in 1-3 and is fine in 4th and 5th and tip is operating. Am I looking at a new tranny or maybe a TCM? Or any other the multitude of things it could be ha. I'm new to a6 but not to this forum at all I own an a4 now

 

Probably looking at rebuilding of replacing it or the torque converter, if it's not low on fluid.

 

You least know when to chime in lol ya seeing if it's low will be the first direction I go but we will see it would be awesome if that was it and I got it for a steal
