hello everyone. i am going to be taking out and replacing the stater on my 2000 a6 2.7t auto trans. well i am hoping that it is the starter. i gives me all the signs of a bad starter. i went to go home after work and when i turned my key, my car turned over ( very weak) once and then just clicked. and now every time i turn my key all i hear is a clicking from under the dash. i have checked the battery tried jumping it all that, nothing. i jacked the car up alittle while ago and had someone turn the key multiple times while i had my ear as close to the stater as possible and when the car was on all i could hear was a buzzing like sound coming from it. so i am hoping that it is the stater and not a deeper problem.. if anyone has any advice on removing it or knows where there is a video or blog of someone doing it before would be really good!! so any help or where to look for help would be great. and if anyone has had this problem before and it was NOT the starter please let me know!!!!!! thank you jon
