I do have an aluminum sports suspension. Bearings should arrive Monday. If I get a warm day I'll do the job.

A late follow up. I did my bearing this weekend. All I had to do was press the hub out of the bearing and reassemble really not that bad of a job. I bought a press from Harbor Freight for $59.00 and it did the job fine.

did replacing the bearing have any effects on the ride? I would assume that it a little smoother, maybe quieter

Much quieter smoother ride. The bearings were defiantly shot once you remove them and spin the bearing you can see the were bad.

How many miles are on your 6 that you needed the bearings already? What type of roads do you drive on?

96,000 miles. Mostly Highway
