Front wheel bearings
ive searched cant find a diy for the b5's
anyone know of a good one, i mean i know you gotta get a press and all that but i want to make sure i know what the parts look like before i order them.

There's one on replacing the front control arms. It should help get you where you need to be to get to the front wheel bearings. AudiWorld Tech Articles
Once you get the upright off of the car, it's not too bad.
1. Press out the old bearing by supporting the upright and pressing on the outer race (find a socket or pipe fitting close enough to the size).
2. Separate the inner race from the hub either using the press and a clamshell or cut the old bearing and beat it off.
3. Press new bearing into the upright (be careful of the orientation of the step in the bearing/hub). Be sure to only press on the outer race of the bearing and not on the seal.
4. Press hub into new bearing. You must support the inner race with an appropriately sized pipe or socket. This is critical and will damage the bearing causing premature failure if you do not support the inner race.
