I think the 2.7T is a perfect car in every way if interior room is of any concern. I drove a 2007 A4 3.2 with a 6 speed and it was AWESOME! I had so much fun, but not enough rear leg room for what I needed. If you're not looking to make performance mods, I'd look at the 4.2 A6 or 3.2 A4, but if you're looking at modding your car go with the 2.7T or 2.0T A4. Just my .02

 

I have 2000 A6 2.7 6 speed man.. but I would go with the A4 if I had the chance... Love my A6 but also love the new design :P ...btw there's no 1.8T anymore -> 2.0T now... I believe it is about 200 hp... which should be enough to begin with :P

 

If I didn't want the extra room I would have gotten the 07 A4 3.2 or an 05 S4, but I need the rear legroom.
