i have a coolant leak from under the intake manifold on the driverside its a hose into something im not sure what it is anyone know what it is?

 

There are a lot of hoses in that area. Any way to take a picture?

I don't know 2.7L engine's topography, but it should be into a pipe that runs into the back of the water pump. The one running to the back of the thermostat housing is just pipe, has no rubber hose whatsoever.
Anyway, both just plug in the housings the same way, with only a rubber O-ring at the end that should insure a tight fit with the wp/t-stat housings.
Pretty lame design if you ask me....

i think it is the aux pump but i wasnt 100% sure i was just asking some other who know more than i do the hole audi setup is new to me im used to the usual mitsubishi and old school muscle setup audi is a whole new world for me lol i love the car to death its got 170,xxx and i dont want to get rid of it because thats my only problem thanks for the help guys
