A6 2.7t oilly discharge on wheels (Grease Like)
2002 A6 2.7t 54k Sport Tip with APR 91 Program. When i clean my BBS wheels I get a splatter of oilish dark liquid on them after i drive a little while. (It's not break dust) Could it be a leaking strut. i just bought the car Last Tuesday. Very clean silver with ebony car. Any ideas?

Sounds like you might have a torn CV boot. Here's a link to a post that has a pic of the part you want to inspect: Pic of turn CV boot

Could be. I'd suggest giving it a good washing, getting under there to see if anything is still leaking, and then go with it. If the problem persists, take it back to where you have the CV boot serviced and have them check.

It is my experience that the product " Olean" may be the culprit for your "oily discharge"
It was brought to market to replace the fat in your potato chips.
My G-ma had the same problem in 1998.
Hope this helps!

I am sorry for the off-topic post, however the set-up was irresistable.
Also, anyone familiar with this fiasco would be wise to keep it in mind for future reference.
