My 2001 A6 4.2 has had this issue all its life. When accelerating from a stand still, the car does not respond immediately. This acceleration lag is typical for this engine, so says the service manager at the dealership and nothing can be done to remedy it. Just wondering if anyone experienced the same problem and if so corrected it. The other thing I'd like to change on this car is the plastic covered lug bolts. Does anyone know where I can purchase replacement lug bolts? Thank You
