The "shock of my life" was approximately $1000 for a new part thatconsidering the multiple threads on this site for ABS module problems obviously has an inherent design flaw thatis prone to failure.Once that is fixed the rest of the module electronics have proven to be very reliable. Will the dealer give you a 5 year guarentee on your new module? Ask them and please let us know. Spend your money as you wish. My car is fixed for $267 and a few hours of my time
