Can anyone think of a reason that a timing belt maintenance could trigger airbag problems? I brought my car (01 allroad) into a shop for the timing belt... and now the airbag light is on intermittently. Just about 2 times in a 30 minute drive. Off a minute later. This damn mechanic seems to goof something else up whenever we have work done.

Edit: Answer to my own question.... When they swung out the front end they must have weakened a connection to the bumper sensors that trigger the airbags. I feel pretty stupid for not putting that one together myself.
