Chirp...Chirp...Chip....
Well I just got finished changing out most of my vacuum hoses yesterday. While driving it last night, I noticed a chirping sound. It sounds like its coming from the front area around the fan.
So....You guys think it's the fanbelt, fan, waterpump or something else?

Your car is 8 years old, and Audi suggest that it be done at 65K miles on your car, it is time to do the TB. The chirp may be giving you the notice of impending doom. Keep in mind that most Audi engines are interference engines.

Maybe the blower fan. Mine was chirping and a shot of white lithium grease under the dust cover worked.

My noise is defintately coming from the fron tof the engine. I'm realy thinking power steering. I checked the level and it is right on the "low" line. Bur I dont think that it's low enough to cause any noise like that.
