Default Clicking in dash (turn signal sound)

Hi there. Newbie here looking for some help. I bought my 2002 A6 about a week and a half ago. I'm totally in love with it except for one highly annoying thing. It's started to make a clicking in the dash. It sounds like the turn signal is on but on cheap drugs or something. It's not constant - but constant enough to drive me crazy. Every time I think it's done...it starts again. Almost like it's taunting me LOL. Any ideas?

Oh, and when the signals (or the hazzards) are in use it doesn't make the noise (other than the noise it's supposed to make).

Any help would be appreciated!

Default RE: Clicking in dash (turn signal sound)

Very common problem... It is the hazard switch, which also controls the blinkers. It is a $25-30 part, easy to fix..
