Thanks guys. The way I figure it, I lost about $550 by not doing it myself and around $350 if I had an honest repair shop do the work[sm=bangbang.gif]. That said, it's time I tried my hand at the DIYmethod (to the extentI can figure it out). I'm not at all handy when it comes to cars, but I am very good at following directions to the tee. So, if I can get good instructions, doesn't require too manyspecific tools andcan be done in the driveway w/out lifting the car I think I can swing it.

Anyone suggest that I buy the A6 Bently Manual (CD version)?
