Ebay mirror risky or not? Quick responce needed
The self dimming mirror in my 2000 A6 go bad and I has to be replaced. I have found a replacement mirror on ebay and there are couple of thing that I want you opinion on.
One: the only mirrors that I can find are from cars that have been in accidents. They both look fine and are described by there owners as being in working condition. Do you think these are a wise purchase. I can not see me getting one that has not come from a totaled car unless I pay steelership prices.
Two the mirror in question came from an 2004 S4 and is the kind with an on off switch at the bottom sorry (for not posting a picture the forum would not let me). It has the same square connector that other ones seem to have and is 6 pin. will this work on my car?
Thanks
James
