Hello...im new to this forum, and love it. I just got a 99 a6 after many years of wanting one!!
everything runs great on it except for the fog lights!!
If anyone can help me out in figuring this out, none of my fog lights work. I figured it was just a blown fuse but the fuse is fine. I just checked one bulb and that is fine too. So has anyone else had this problem too, and fixed it?
My only guess is if the lights are run in a series, but i dont want to mess with testing each bulb unless I know that they are in series.
Any sugestions would help so much!!

 

I had this exact same problem when i bought my 99 A6... its the relay under the dash. i got a quote from audi and its expensive to replace so i just rewired all of mineand put in two new switches on my dash that match.. its great so now i can have the fogs on with nothing else if i want.. its cool and i also put in another rear fog light so now i have both of them.. that was easy as well.. so yea if you want to get the fog relay fixed its under the driver steering column.. somewher up in the open space above thepedals.. good luck!

 

thanks...yes i was thinking about wiring them seperate anyways to have them as running lights...thanks for the info
