help needed for A6 CVT fluid change
Hello-
I have a 04 Audi A6 3.0 with CVT transmission and is doing transmission fluid change right now. read some posts about changing Audi transmission fluid before I did this. so know the normal procedures.
Here is the problem. I only can get little bit over one liter old fluid out. By the way, I reomved a 10mm hex socket from the bottom of the transmission. There is no fluid pan for this transmission. There is a same socket on the side of the transmission case. I believe I am right about this two 10mm hex sockets. one for draining old fluid, the other one for filling the new fluid. I did notice there another big torx socket on the bottom as well, but it needs special tool to lose it. (needs a torx wrench with a hole in the center).
So here is the question. why can I only get so little fluid out? Did I do something incorrectly? Did it not get filled enough before? does not think that's the case. I do not think it will drive properly if it only has that little fluid in transmission case.
I got this car a year ago with about 61k mile on it at that time. Now it has about 69K mile on it. Car runs perfectly.
Please let me where it's the probelm.
Thanks in advance.
