ya man i have the same dilemma, i'm pretty sure too that is the power steering. And you only add fluids to it, you don't drain them out. When you do add the fluids, make sure you car is running too or else you'll blow out some gasket things.

I was thinking about doing this but it's not a priority. I think what I'm going to do when I get around to it is turkey baster the reservoir empty and fill. In a few months I'll come back and repeat. That should get most of it replaced. I forget who posted that technique but it seems easy and painless. I'll be using Pentosin CHF 11S.

Pentosin 11 fluid. Do not use ATF or "power steering fluid". I change mine the clean way, although it is not a full drain. Every 10K miles or so I use a turkey baster to drain the reservoir and pour in fresh fluid. It is not anywhere close to a full drain and fill, but it gets some of the dirty stuff out. I'm now at 190K miles at PS pump is fine.

The engine should be off, when checking and adding the CHF11S.
