I finally got my 1997 A6, and there are three places where the instument illumination lights are out. What would be the best way to replace these (see pictures for locations)
Speedometer/odometer + Gear selector
climate control


btw. This is not my A6. I haven't had time to take pictures of mine yet.

 

Iread a thread from ne2q 73 I just did the bulb replacement in the gear selector and his info was right on. The bulbs in the low range of the speedo are very easy to replace...simply push down and rotate 90 deg clockwise .... they come right out. Just get the 1.1watt bulbs from one of the site supporters... my 96 took the orange. As for the "Auto" temp control I don't know best of luck
