Jerking and Sucking

I think the jerking in reverse on my car is the torque converter. The CEL came on last night P0741, torque converter. The jerking as well as the code are sporadic. Otherwise the car drives fine. I'm going to wait til the transmission takes a dump & then put a new tranny in the car.
