Does anyone know where to get a Vag-com from for a good price or maybe to use for free?? From my understanding they are a lil more involved than the universal OBD II scanners at like schucks or napa.

Any update to your problem? Mine started doing exactly the same thing recently. I haven't touched any wiring or performed any recent service that would explain the problem. My best guess is all the rain we have been having has caused the wiring or alarm sensors to be hyper sensitive. I don't have a Vag-Com yet, but plan to get one soon. The crappy thing is the other night when it kept going off, I finally decided to just disconnect the battery, which has now left me with a locked radio for which I need to pay the stealership to lookup the code.
