Default RE: A good link for removal instructions

Wow!! I wish I would have know to take the wheel and wheel cover out. That would have made my job a lot easier,... when I put the ABS module back on, I will follow the video, which should make my job much easier,... Thanks for the video.

Default Just be careful when removing the washer tank

There are 3 connectors - 1 for the windshield washer pump, 1 for the headlight washer pump and 1 for the level switch. You'll also likely dump a good bit of the washer fluid. It does make it very easy to get to the ABS module, though.

I got my re-built ABS yesterday. Installed it, tested it and it works great!! Total cost $199 ($179 - re-build; $20 - UPS shipping both ways). I highly recommend it for everyone who has ABS problems. mpw2.7T thanks for the link on how to video for ABS removal.

Where did you send your ABS module for the rebuild? I've never known anyone with succes at having that done that acually lasted. I would like to us them if you are really happy with the work done and it seems to be a good repair..

Default ModuleMaster......

I follow the forums pretty regularly and I have never seen the first negative comment about them. They provide a warranty on their work and the repair addresses the root cause of the problem, which probably results in better life than buying a new controller with the same flawed design.

We use Module Master in ID and have so far been great, and a lot cheaper than new units for our customers. They are quick and effecient.
