Nervous Nelly here...Need a new
battery for my key remote. Is it as easy as it looks? I see a crevice for opening thecompartment that I would assume holds the battery. Can I do this myself or should I take it to a dealership?
I know it sounds elementary but I don't wanna be buying a new remote... Thanks!!!

Sorry pressed ENTER in erro
Anyway, push in the crevice on the side where the four rings are, separate both section. The section wihtout the actual metal key is where the electronic components are, including the battery. Using yuor nails for exmaple, separate the upper section fromt he bottom (buttons). The battery is in there. It'l take you 2 minutes. If the remote does not work right away, use the instructions in the manual to reset it.
