I'm in Cincinnati, OH. I definitely need to get another opinion. There is one other Audi dealership in town I will see about. It definitely seems that the dealer shouldve knocked quite a bit off from the labor hours by having the cam seals done at the time of the TB

dont get k04s ... its about 8 grand in parts and another 1500-2000 in labor ... its not worth the money ... I wanted to do the upgrade and have the money to do it but i drove an a6 with k04s about 3 weeks ago ... o it was ***** quick and the turbos start spooling at like 1300rpms ... it was crazy ... but when u step on it you better hope the car is pointed in the right direction because you have no control ... it sucked to be honest ... if you only take your a6 to the track then do the upgrade but its not a great mod for 10grand for the daily driver

you probably misunderstood the service guy.. he probably said 1030 for cam seals. That is probably the main problem. but he is giving you the option to replace the timing belt while they are there for the extra 600 + in parts for the timing belt, rollers, and tensioners, since it makes sence to do it now because of the labor overlap. The CV boots makes sence to me aswell. the dealer charges probably 65.00 for the parts and 2.0 hours labor a side. The labor rate is probably over 100.00 atleast. The pump i would have to look upfor you. If i am not mistaking.. i believe the o2 is a nightmare to get to on that car? there is just no room. so it is labor intensive!I agree with everyone esle that owning an Audi is not cheap. In my opinion, the car is worth it and go for it if you can afford it!

Well, I wanted to update this story. I received a quote from Dubwerx in Cincinnati (specializing in VW/Audi) and will save about 40% over the dealership. I am willing to go to a 3rd party shop and take my chances!
