Default Powersteering Pump Failure

Hey,

I have been driving my car for about a year and my powersteering pump always made a funny sound just at startup. The fluid was full when I checked.

Well the pump just failed and I need another.Does anyone knowwherethey sell cheap pumps?

I have a 2001 A6 2.7 T.
Are there any instructions online for the installation of this part?

Thanks

Check carsteering.com, call them if you don't see yours, they will check thier sources. I couldn't find mine anywhere but the dealer, cost $411. Your engine is morepopular than mine.
My buddy replaced it without pulling the radiator, wasn't a big job. Flush well afterward with the correct fluid, you want to make sure there's no metal lurking in the system.Someone here can help you. May alsowant tosearch audiworld.
