Hi all,

I was just wondering if it is possible to buy a 'blank' Audi key fob and program it to work with my existing fob using the VAG software?

Audi dealers here in the UK want £200 + to do this!

Thanks for the prompt reply....

I have seen similar instructions to the ones you have posted, but the first piece of instruction askone to use a 'key not fitted with a remote'. I only have one key/fob and that is the integrated remote fob and key together- would this make a difference?

The last thing I want is for my existing key not to work!

so you dont have the master key then?? you need to have one cut without the remote,saying this (Im not 100% ) I dont think you can have more than one remote ( 4 keys yes )

 

Nope- no master. There was only one key fob given to me when I purchased the car.

I would get a key cut for unlocking the car only as a spare

 

Any idea if a good locksmith wouldhaveblank keysin stock ready to be cut?
