Do you suppose to have one-touch down feature (automatic) on all of your windows?

Why don't you swap the switch from left to right? If the problem follows the switch, then it is the switch. Otherwise I suspect the main switch on the driver seat.

FYI, there is a small hold on the bottom of the door handle. Just insert a screw driver and the switch should pop out.

wow, that must be an European feature...

On the cars sold on the US market only the front driver's side window has an automatic (or "one-touch down", as known here) feature where you don't have to HOLD the button.

For all the other windows (including the passenger front), as a driver, you HAVE to hold the button to roll the windows down. If you are seated in the rear, you still have to HOLD the buttons to roll the windows. So, even if they are activated "directly", the rear windows don't have an "automatic" down/up feature.

At least that's how my older model is manufactured. If the newer models have all the windows activated via "automatic" down feature, than I apologize for my previous question and for my lack of knowledge.

Chefro,

I don't know when they changed, but, my 97, the passenger side is also one touch. TAP, it's down. TAP it's up.

My 90, it was tap all the way down on driver's side but hold the button up. The rest were touch and let go it stops.

Cheers,

George

That makes sense, then. Thanks for the clarification, George.

Regards.
