i just got an a6 1999

i want to know if it is possible to remove the OEM door pin and replace with aftermarket door pin.

Also it is possible to change the shift **** (automatic not manual ones).

What's wrong with the door pin?

 

now the door pin is plastic. I have 4 really nice silver pin and want to install on it. I hope someone in here can help me. so i can use the silver pin on my door.

 

I have the same problem for my 2004 audi s line. i have aluminum pins and need instructions on how to install?
