Default Seized rotor removal help please

Ashamed, just ashamed for even having to ask but I've never previously owned an Audi. Pease tell me I have nothing more to remove than the wheel bolts and wheels in order to get off my rotors on the A6. I don't mind elbow grease to removed seized rotors but I want to be dammned sure there's no little screws or secret cotter pins before I have at it. And right now they're not "sliding off" at all. thx............

Assuming you have unbolted the calipers, use a rubber mallet and start banging from behind... (yes, I know... I made it too easy to make jokes!).

Brake calipers off? On my 2001 A6, the rotor was able to spin on the hub. Yours could be rusted on. There might be a screw on the face of the rotor hat, I'm not sure if these audis have the screw.

yup, calipers offs. And one or two whacks with the rubber mallet not working so good. May have to turn to the ole metal hammer and some heat. Just want to be sure I'm not missing something stupid like having to remove the dust cap nut and hub nut or something. Had a toyota rotor that got the best of me once and I didn't give a damn about that thing. My A6 though, gets babied.

Avoid heat. It will melt the grease in the wheel bearings. I second the "pound harder" advice from oc audi. Pound from the outside in. A good sledge hammer will do the trick.

Use a lot of PB blaster on the hub..

I once had a disk stick on an Audi because there was a bunch of crap inside the rotor hub. I used the biggest hammer I could find --

If the outside of the hub -where the rotor slides on -is really dirty you might try cleaning it off with a wire brush or even a file.
