Jeff's (turbo kraut) schedule on Saturday is the same as yours, I think, so we'll have to try and set something up. I'm hoping to come down there this Saturday, but it depends on whether my mom has to work or not.

do you by chance have a bose system?.. cuz i see you have different speakers and sub.. and Im wondering how that sounds.. I kinda wanna get rid of the bose

 

No, my car just came with the Audi Symphony. I've heard the Bose is sort of a pain to upgrade. From what I've heard about the A4 Bosesystems(which may be completely different from the A6 systems), each speaker is powered by a separate amp.

I'm pretty happy with my setup, though. The highs come through really clear for only being $40 Polks I got on sale off Crutchfield. I decided to only get a 10" sub because I just listen to rock, for the most part - not very much hip-hop / any other excessively bassy music.

What are you looking to change / add on??

 

well I really want to ditch the bose system all together, and put in a different headunit and speakers... and I also have a 10" Infinity sub that I would love to put in there at some point

Although I really cant compain about the bose concert system.. I had about $500 worth of stereo in my Avenger (kenwood headunit, kenwood 6.5's, and eclipse 6x9s.. all hooked up to the factory amp).. and this thing is louder, clearer, and will thump much harder than that system did.. so its not terrible lol

 

Yeah, if you're gonna ditch it completely, you shouldn't have too much of a problem. It's probably not gonna be cheap, though.

If you ever need any dynamat, though,just let me know. I bought fifty square feet when I did my car and barely used any of it. lol.
