Thinking of getting an A6

Thinking of getting an A6
Guys my current lease is coming to an end and I'm thinking of getting an A6. Test drove it - like it a lot.
I currently have an MB E500 and I had so many problems with the car - it's crazy!
So here's a couple of questions that I have about A6:
1. How is the reliability in your opinion? Do you have any problems with your cars? Any common ones?
2. What would a fair lease price be for it? I'm in NY.
Thanks.

RE: Thinking of getting an A6
I have an 01 2.7T. This car is unbelievable. I modified it with a GIAC chip, Miltek Exhaust (Which gives a perfect sound with a manual transmittion), Stratmosphere diverter valves and a K&N Air filter (you will hear pros and cons of K&N, but I have no problem with it).
I also have 19"X 9" wheels and my H&R suspension will be on soon as well.
My car has been trouble free other than standard maintenance. The only concerns are the timing belt. I believe they need to be replaced every 65,000 miles, which I've done.
Other folks on the forum can confirm this as well!
Take the car to a good mechanic, I am blessed to have one that works on Euros only. Let them go over the car with a fine tooth comb, if it comes back with a clean bill of health than I would buy it! It never hurts to check out Carfax!
