Hi have a6 1996 sedan. Have been hearing a long humm coming from the central locking everytime doors are locked or unlocked. Although the doors are activated everytime the rear trunk lid does not open either with the locking system or the key itself.
I changed the central locking motor, located next to the battery in rear seat, but the humming still continues and problem is not resolved. It seems that the system is a vacumm activated one so I am looking to change the vacumm harness but cant do it untill I am able to get an easier tubing to fit into the nipples of the harness.
Has anyboy have anything you can add to this or have anyone have had a similar problem.
