Need some help here. Last night my Audi A6 (2.0 TDI Multi) failed on me. It lost power and the glow plug light started flashing. I managed to limp the car off the motorway and get it seen to by RAC (Audi Assistance couldn't come out till the morning). He plugged his computer in and stated it has error P0299, turbo under boost.



Anyways, the next morning Audi tech came out and checked everything and couln't find a leak in the pipes. He removed the pipe from the turbo and placed his hand over it. The engine cut of straight away. From what he was saying, the turbo is knackerd. Is this true?



I believe him but I cant believe that a turbo would fail after 65K!! Can someone point me in the right direction is where to obtain another turbo from or roughly how much does it cost to get it replaced. I liev in the UK so anywhere that can delivery within UK would be great.
