Does anyone know how much it would cost to put my turbos up to 11 psi. I have a 2001 audi a6 2.7 biturbo. I want to put it up there for the hp gain without having to buy after market engine parts

 

Just buy a tune. For the 2.7 vast is a big time tuner and their tune is about 18 psi w/ at least a 50 hp bump. Just turning up the boost is bad for any car/turbo. Read the faq's to get more info.

 

thanks, i was just wondering because the guy at the local audi dealership said tuning it to 11 psi wont hurt, but the thing is i cant do it myself and i know the fuel air ratio needs to be tweaked then to do it properly. and i dont think i could afford to get it tuned right now

 

You could put an mbc an set it for 11 psi or go turbo to wg and be at 14ish psi. But a tune is the safest. Look in the classifieds for someone selling a used stage 1 tune
