what was the total for parts and labor ... i brought my car in for 60-70k service and they said the tie rods were fine? Will it cause more damage if I let them start to get worn out or should I just do the repair when needed?

let me know how you like the chip ... drive it for a few days though before you post your opinion because it will have to adapt to how you drive ... your car will prob feel like a rocket ship when you first drive it but after a few days itll get into your driving patern and adapt

You guys might be able to help me...
I've got a 2000 2.5tdi allroad tip, love the diesel, hate the tip. All my previous audis have had a real gearbox. I emailed VAST regarding a TCU chip for my non paddle 5-speed and they said they didn't do one. Now from what I've read in various forums these tip chips work across the board on any tip tranny.
Suggestions to deliver me from slushy hell.
Further I'm a little confused as to the difference between reflashing to 032 spec vs tip chip. Educate me please.
