so i get this weird noise when im going relatively slow
and when i turn my steering wheel... i dunn really know how
to describe the noise.. it sounds kinda like metal rubbing on
something... anyone have any similar problems?

 

Yes, my 05 had the same symptom. Was the Power Steering pump almost out of fluid. They eventually found a leak in the system and repaired. If that's what it is, DO NOT use just any fluid, you must use Audi approved Mineral Fluid, something your local Target won't have.

 

A creaking/squeaking noise is most likey a bad outer tie rod end. More of a knocking or ticking is probably a cv joint. Dont overlook the above metionned oil fluid issue thou.
