Default Windows Stuck Please Help

I know that there are a million posts about power windows for the A6 and none of them seem to be the same problem as I have. I have a 2001 A6 2.7T and I started to roll down the windows with the key by mistake. When they started to go down I let the key go and they stopped when they were just cracked. Since then they wont go up or down. I checked all of the fuses and they are all fine. I am currently trying to just roll up the windows manually but cant get them to move even using my hands under the window. The motors do not click or anything. Any help anyone could give me would be appreciated.

Thanks

Dumb question... Did you try closing the window by using your key and turning the lock to the close position?

I know that it is really easy to miss the obvious..... but yes I did try to use the key to roll up the window. That doesnt work either. Is it possible that it is the central locking control unit under the carpet on the left hand side of the car? If that is the problem does anyone know where I might be able to find one to replace it without contacting a dealer? I have looked at all of the websites I could find but cant seem to find any anywhere...
